Family Pho Geelong

This place serves up huge portions of beef ho fun and it’s really satisfying. The flavors are great and the beef is tender while the broth is delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they really make you feel at home. Overall it’s great value for money. Highly recommend if you’re craving a hearty affordable meal!

I was in Geelong recently for a hospital visit and needed something comforting for dinner. Family Pho was just a short walk away and came highly recommended – and it did not disappoint. I ordered the beef pho with no noodles, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and full of flavour. It was exactly what I needed. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and the whole vibe of the place felt relaxed and friendly. I enjoyed it so much I ended up going back the next day for lunch. The food is well-priced, portions are generous. If you're in Geelong and craving something warm, fresh and satisfying, Family Pho is definitely worth a visit.

Had a great meal at Family Pho Geelong! The beef pho was excellent — rich, flavourful broth with tender slices of beef, and the serving size was seriously generous. Loved the generous handful of crunchy bean sprouts too — fresh and satisfying. We also tried the iced tea. It was a bit strong at first, but once we split it between cups and added a splash of water, it was absolutely brilliant — super refreshing and well-balanced. The dim sims were also great — tasty, well-seasoned, and nicely cooked. I did try the iced chocolate, and I’d probably steer clear of that next time — not much sweetness at all. That said, not everything needs sugar, and if you’re into a more subtle, cocoa-forward flavour, it was honestly still pretty okay. Good-ish, even. All in all, a solid spot for a satisfying and affordable meal. Will definitely be back!
